    Darren Hall is a surprise. Virtually no mention of him prior to this game in camp other than he was buried in end of the depth chart. Josh Fryer's grade is a nice surprise. Zay Jones do anything?
    With Crawford playing so well, do we have one of the best S rooms in the NFL?
    Would like to see Demercado's PFF. He's my player of the game and no surprise he played well. The PFF grades I'd like to see-W Johnson, Melton, KM, Z Jones, I Adams, H Connor

      Darren Hall has been making a number of good pass breakups in practice that the coaches have been praising him for. That's why he was Garrett Williams' replacement after 2 series. Emari Demercado's overall PFF grade was 60.4. He graded 89.3 in the passing game. 74.9 in pass blocking. But 48.9 in the running game. 3 carries for 7 yards, 2.3 average.

      Demercado keeps channeling that horned frog magic. Darren Hall might push Elijah Jones to practice squad. I'm not sure how Keitrel Clark makes active roster. If I'm BJ Ojulari I'm looking over my shoulder.

      on 3rd and 8, kid had a 43yd TD off a behind the line screen pass. His touchdown might have been the spark motivating the Cardinals to come back and win a meaningless game.

    I like watching Demercado run with the ball. Reminds me a little of Ladainian Tomlinson. I see no reason why this offense isn't a top 5 this season. If they're outside of the top 10, something is seriously wrong or the injury bug hit them bad.

 Was Will Johnson's Red and White Interception Staged? by Walter Mitchell photo thanks to Tyler Drake at Arizona Sports Cardinals' 2nd round pick, CB Will Johnson of Michigan, is off to a fabulous start just 10 days into training camp.  Will Johnson has come to the Cardinals just as advertised. He is a keenly instinctive zone cover corner who reads his man and the QB extremely well, which enables him to jump routes and make timely pass breakups and interceptions.  In man coverage, he lacks the requisite recovery speed to stay sticky on speedy receivers. But that's ok, as long as the coaches match him up with receivers whom he can run stride for stride with.  We have yet to see whether the 2024 concerns about Will Johnson's tackling, which may have been due to injuries.  A Two-Dimensional Plan for the Arizona Cardinals CB Unit It was very tough to hear about Starling Thomas V's season-ending ACL injury on Day 3 of the Arizona Cardinals' training camp. Star's Cinderella ascension from tearing an ACL and losing his dear mom to cancer while at UAB to going undrafted in 2023 and after being claimed off waivers by the Cardinals becoming a 1st and 2nd year starter in the NFL is nothing short of compelling.  My message to Star:  https://x.com/WBJMItch/status/1949544884274090422 It was also difficult to hear that 2nd year CB Jaden Davis has been placed on the IR due to a knee injury.
