Questions about Kyler Murray's Foot Injury

No matter what the actual injury is, if Kyler has difficulty planting his back foot, it not only will affect the velocity and accuracy of his passes, it could also limit his ability to escape pressure --- which is of greatest concern to Kyler per his own caveat that he won't play if he is unable to properly protect himself.
A couple of questions about Sunday's game come to mind:
1. Knowing and seeing that Kyler wasn't able to plant his back foot normally, why did the coaches continue to play him?
2. Did Kyler's injury status affect Drew Petzing's 3rd and 8 call?
Neither Jonathan Gannon nor Drew Petzing indicated whether Kyler's injury was a factor in the play calling down the stretch, and particularly on that critical 3rd and 8. But it would not have been in their best interests to get that type of into the hands of the Colts and Packers.
Dr. Chao thinks Kyler will try to "give it a go" versus Colts.
I am hoping that the Cardinals' coaches go with the healthier QB this time around. It's too bad we couldn't have seen what Jacoby Brissett could have done for the Cardinals' lethargic offense in the 4th quarter versus the Titans.
Do you concur?
If you look at the photo above, what do you notice about Kyler's back foot? Heavily planted on his big toe. A number of ailments could prevent him from putting pressure on it.
