What a night for the Cardinals' young talents!
4 of the top 6 highest grades were earned by Cardinals' 2025 rookies!
Walter Nolen had this to say about the Cardinals' 2025 rookie class:

"It made me feel like the future of this team is safe."
Nice rookie class and growth from MOs earlier drafts should keep him employed here. His FA signings, clearly hampered by the owners lack of interest and funds, are not as persuasive, ex, Jonah Williams who just sucks. As far as the coaches' future being safe, regardless of rookie play or improvement with a system QB, if they have another losing season, all bets are off. I don't think the owner will fire all of them. If I owned the store, it would depend on who is available to replace the current staff and I'm sure the really good candidates who wouldn't think of working for Bidwill, would work for me.
ReplyDeletePrevious free agent classes have been hampered a bit by injuries but this years free agents all seem to be home runs. Even the previous years, injuries look to be the only short comings with very few not working out for reasons other then injuries. Even Jonah has had his ceiling impacted via the injury bug, though I don't think they were expecting anything other than a serviceable RT.
DeleteSame could be said for the draft picks, everyone looks like contributors at a minimum unless injured for all three classes. Very few haven't worked out on offence, defence or special teams.
Let's enjoy the win, PFF grades and rookie contributions cause here come the EFFing Seahawks.
ReplyDeleteThis game will tell us everything we need to know about this Jacoby led team. At 5 losses, the playoffs are a reach but lose this game to hit 6 loses and it's basically over.
DeleteWe will need to split with the Seahawks and the 49ers and sweep the Rams, as well as upset a lot of teams along the way to have any chance at a wild card.
Having Williams back to cover the slot and JSN will be huge for this game but I think we have a better chance than most think. It will be a tough game.
Note to self ...start every Ohio State player on roster this week. Time to end the Seasquawk streak.
ReplyDeleteGood call, Flash!
DeleteThe latest NFL.com power rankings have the Seahawks at #1 and the Rams at #2. Big opportunities to pull off some upsets.
ReplyDeleteThat's the right vibe, Jethro!
DeleteI hope this will temper the criticism among fans of MO's defense heavy drafting this year. The boys were looking good on Monday! I've been most excited to see Simon play, and boy did he stand out. Rumor has it, he'll be the green dot against Seattle.
