    My ONLY comment from this week is we have to replace the coaching staff. The team was woefully ill-prepared to play an NFC-West division game. In every aspect. No more excuses, No more BS. It is just too painful to watch!!!

      100% agree. Yet, PHNX has been told from the Cardinals' FO that Gannon has been assured he is safe and will remain the head coach in 2026.

    This team has enough talent defensively to have a winning record. The progress of this make in gane adjustmentsteam has revolved around the Kyler argument . With Kyler being sidelined it has shown how poor special teams and the defense have played. I dont see any area on defense that helps us win games. I question the development of some of our younger players. We have anointed both Gannon and Rallis with out performance results. What does this defense do well? The addition of free agents and draft picks have not moved the needle for this team.team. We dont make in game adjustments or change scheme when warranted. Get up off the mat...why doesn't this entire defensive staff get over yourselves and put this team in positions to win.

    Excellent podcast Walter, Sam and Kyle. Budda strikes me as a player who regrets signing his contract and doesn't want to be here anymore. I think he wants to be traded to a contender where I bet his game would miraculously be restored to pro bowl effort. Also IMO, Bidwill doesn't deserve Jacoby Brissett. Jacoby is a class act with the heart of a lion playing like he just signed a 235M contract. As an NFL fan, I'm glad I got to see him in a Cardinal uniform.

      So agree with you about Jacoby. Dude is playing the full 60 minutes with every ounce of energy and determination he's got. Now so is Bam, Trey, Wilson and Dortch.

    Gannon’s career record against the NFC West is now 3-13. The only folks who SHOULD want Gannon to retain his Head Coaching job with the Cards are the division coaches who benefit from 2 division wins a season with him at the helm of the perennial losers.
    Does MO really deserve or should he be the "team building genius" to hire another staff?

 Was Will Johnson's Red and White Interception Staged? by Walter Mitchell photo thanks to Tyler Drake at Arizona Sports Cardinals' 2nd round pick, CB Will Johnson of Michigan, is off to a fabulous start just 10 days into training camp.  Will Johnson has come to the Cardinals just as advertised. He is a keenly instinctive zone cover corner who reads his man and the QB extremely well, which enables him to jump routes and make timely pass breakups and interceptions.  In man coverage, he lacks the requisite recovery speed to stay sticky on speedy receivers. But that's ok, as long as the coaches match him up with receivers whom he can run stride for stride with.  We have yet to see whether the 2024 concerns about Will Johnson's tackling, which may have been due to injuries.
