Cardinals' Depth Chart after their Practice Squad Signings

Here are the 16 players the Cardinals have thus far signed to their practice squad. Note that the Cardinals get an exemption for international player G Valentin Senn. Therefore, they still have one spot open.
While the Cardinals surprisingly did not add any players off the waiver wire, they added two outside practice squad players who have the physical talents to be contributors this season and/or beyond.
Cardinals signed C Vershon Lee (6-4, 318, South Carolina) to their practice squad.

Cardinals signed DE/DT Jared Harrison-Hunte (6-4, 292, SMU, 1st team All-ACC 2024)to the practice squad.

So happy that the Cardinals were able to sign Evan Hull to the practice squad. Hope AZ is his home for the next few years. This young baller is a keeper.

Happy for OP
Robert Saleh sees the value of what Owen Pappoe brings as a cover LB. And the Cardinals no longer have anyone like him to play that role. If you notice what Saleh's forte is, his LBers, to a man, cover you from the minute you leave the tunnel. The Cardinals are more "uncover" than cover.
Happy for Owen Pappoe and Elijah Jones who landed with defensive gurus Robert Saleh (who places premium importance on his ILBs' playing stick as all get-out pass coverage) and Dennard Wilson (whom I was hoping the Cardinals would sign as DC believing that he would know how to develop and instill confidence the younger players and not play favorites). Pretty cool to see Elijah Jones return home (born and bred in the Bronx).
Interestingly, Cardinals' new addition DT Jared Harrison-Hunte played his high school ball in Queens NY at Christ the King High School.
Happy to see Christian Jones get a fresh start under Ben Johnson in Chicago.
Was very high on Christian Jones of Texas as a RT. Had a superb Senior Bowl and imo was a 5th round steal. But Cardinals from day one tried unsuccessfully to make him a swing tackle when clearly, he was far better suited to play RT. Then came the dreaded knee injury. And he's been trying to recover and climb up from the bottom of the depth chart ever since. Still believe in his talent. It's so tantalizing to know what a razor thin margin it is for players to win starting jobs in the NFL. The Rams developed RT (2023 5th round pick) Warren McClendon Jr. to be Rob Havenstein's eventual successor and ever since WMCJ's got his chance, he has flourished (83.5 starting the last 10 regular season games). Dang. Was hoping for Christian Jones to have the same success at one of the Cardinals' key positions of need. Wishing you all the best, big man.
Good for Kedon Slovis
First off, good for Kedon Slovis, who played excellent football for the Cardinals this pre-season. Packers saw this first-hand and it takes a little sting away from them trading Marv's former HS and OSU QB Kyle McCord.
The Cardinals kept 3 QBs, so Gardner Minshew and Carson Beck can take turns running the scout team.
Aloha Ka'ena Decambra
Man, until the last pre-season game, Ka'ena Decambra was balling something fierce as the 3rd team center. I think in the long run the Texans may have found themselves a Hawaiian dandy.
Back to Bowles
Very smart decision by Sean Murphy-Bunting to get back with Todd Bowles, the defensive coach who to date had gotten the most out of him.
