  1. Reese is going to be a great LB. No one should be shocked that the coaching staff sucks Bidwill is so cheap he didn’t fire the lowest paid DC and wanted a first year HC because of his cheap contract-OL is a trainwreck, Marv is a wreck and now Love is already wishing he had been drafted by another team.

    1. I was here for the 1994 Cardinals, Buddy Ryan defense has been the best Defense in AZ, over T. Bowles defense. That team had E. Swan and C Simmons on DL, check out the starting LBs; S. Joyner, E Hill, J. Miller and W. Marshall. O yeah, also had Andrea Bad Waters and A. Williams in the secondary. AZ was 3rd overall in the league in D.

    2. Least surprising thing in the world that a Jets castoff OC who engineered bottom 2 scoring offense over his 2 years calling plays in the nfl is not a good coach. He was a Mcvay grunt, not some offensive whiz and Monti of course didn’t realize as much because he’s absolutely terrible at his job

  2. This season and last were the easiest seasons as a Cards fan to project. Each offseason that Monto remains as GM the gap between our roster and the rest of the league gets wider. Coaching were bottom of the barrel too in the pro sport where coaching carries the most weight. We’re 1-3 staring a total gauntlet of a schedule down the barrel, and we’re objectively a worse team than every team we play through the end of the season. 3 wins is the ceiling. Until Monti is relieved of his role we’ll continue to be the worst team in football. Like we’ve been since he took over. When Drew Petzing comes into Phx this Sunday and his offense drops 40+ it’ll be appropriate since it’ll be Monti’s 40th loss as a GM, he’ll have gotten to that distinction faster than any GM in league history. When he’s let go, he’ll have an objective argument for the worst GM in league history.

    1. Who could argue and your prediction on the Lions is probably gonna happen. Bidwill will need to clean house again I just hope he has a top 3 QB pick to attract decent candidates across the board.

  3. After last year you thought we would have a group of collective players we could at least route for and see progress in our division. PJ is the worst possible position for us to have an injury. It's going to offset what seemed like a promising run game. We are literally dead in the water week 4 into the season

    1. I'm willing to at least see what Jayden Williams has in store before writing them off all together. He was great in the preseason

  4. This team is top to bottom the most dysfunctional Cardinals team I've ever watched. You guys nailed it. This team makes no in-game adjustments and gets outcoached almost every game. If there is one thing I've learned about this team, it's too never ever think this team has hit rock bottom and the only way for them to go is up. Some of the things this team does is so mind boggling, it seems intestinal.

  5. The referee that blew the call on McBride, then McBride let him know about it, the referee started cussing him out using the fu word. Anyway, the referee was suspended a game for his language. I don't know if this was in the podcast I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.

    1. Actually, the ref was suspended two games.

  6. Brissett's numbers say he's not bad but they also say he's just mediocre. He's also the worst kind of mediocre because there's no one thing about his game that says he can do something special or dynamic. He's not going to make big plays with his legs and he's not going to hit those extremely difficult passes in tight windows. If you can't do either of those things, you're going to have a really hard time in the red zone. He's the type of QB that a really good team can win with. He's not the type of QB that can make a really bad team look like they aren't really bad.

    1. If the defense wasn't ranked in the bottom three in the league, they'd probably be 3-1 right now tho

  7. The Arizona Cardinals' last playoff win was on January 16, 2016. The NFL should have a rule that if a team hasn't won a playoff game in over 10 years, they have to sell all or majority ownership to a potentially more competent owner or investment group. The way things are set up now, NFL owners do not receive a major direct financial windfall or massive profit surge from making the playoffs.

    1. LOVE THIS! Did you know that the NFL had to institute a minimum salary floor because of old man Bidwill.

    2. No, I didn't know that, but I don't doubt it at all.
You probably already know this but this write up was interesting.
